Michelle has been a dental nurse at our practice since January 2015 and has been qualified for over 6 years working in both NHS & Private practices.

She is extremely kind natured and has a strong connection with the patients at the practice. “Knowing a nervous patient has gotten over the fear of coming to the dentist after having seeing us is a massive personal achievement.” She has a great understanding with regards to any worries and concerns patients may have about treatments and is always here with a friendly smile and hand to hold.

Michelle hopes to obtain a qualification this year in Oral Health Education in order for her to spend more one to one time with patients helping them to maintain a better understanding of oral health.

One of Michelle’s main passions in life is her 2 children, a 12 year old gymnast with type 1 diabetes who is a lover of animals and has 2 Guinea pigs to occupy her time and a 15 year old teenager who spends most of her time hunched under a duvet, socialising via social media and a making occasional grunting noises to me when food is needed!!

In her spare time, Michelle likes to take a few weekend city breaks away with her husband. She also enjoys badminton and walking – she can usually be found up a mountain somewhere or walking around a lake at the weekends to stay fit and healthy.
